FEATURES
Adjustability is a key feature of our steel tarp bows. A Set Screw is installed on one end to allow for width adjustments. This is extremely useful for trailers that are not exactly 96 or 102 inches wide.
Heavy Duty Tarp Bows are 50% stronger than Standard and made of super high strength 12 gauge galvanized steel tubing. They are designed for tougher than normal work environments.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Weld one elbow/shank on the end without the Set Screw. Insert at least 4 inches of the elbow inside the tarp bow for strength support.
- Insert the other elbow and loosen the Set Screw to adjust the width so the tarp bow fits securely inside the brackets mounted to the inside of the trailer.
- Once it is properly fitted inside the brackets, tighten the Set Screw to secure the length.
Please note our tarp bows do not ship with the elbow welded in. The images are only used to show what the finished tarp bow should look like when assembled.
COMPARE ALL TARP BOWS
| Type | Use Case | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 96 and 102 inch wide dump trailers, farm beds, and grain trailers. | Our most economical option, the Standard tarp bows are best used on trailers hauling part-time and loading only small sized grain, rock, or sand. |
| Heavy Duty | 96 and 102 inch wide dump trailers, farm beds, and grain trailers. | The most popular option, our Heavy Duty tarp bows provide the perfect combo of price and quality. Mainly used on trailers that haul full-time and load small to medium sized rock. |
| Reinforced | 96 and 102 inch wide grain trailers and 96 to 144 inch wide grain carts and gravity wagons. Also compatible with 96 and 102 inch wide dump trailers and farm beds. | Our Reinforced tarp bow is popular for trailers that haul grain full-time. |
| KwikFlex® Nylon | 96 and 102 inch wide dump trailers and dump trucks. | Our only flexible tarp bow option without sacrificing strength, the KwikFlex® tarp bow is built using a solid nylon rod. Designed to bend and spring back when hit, these tarp bows work perfect for dump trailers hauling big sized rock or concrete chunks. They also withstand accidental hits by loaders. |
| Super Duty | 96 and 102 inch wide dump trailers and dump trucks. | Our strongest option available, the Super Duty tarp bow is built using Schedule 80 pipe and primarily used in trailers that haul big sized rock and concrete chunks. |
